Uttar Pradesh, designated as the heart of India, is a cradle to Indian Civilization at the confluence of two great rivers the Ganga and the Yamuna representing a unique 'Ganga-Jamuni' Culture where coexistence with diversity is deeply embedded in every sphere of life. It has been the leader in various fields of education since 1000 BC. The universities of Varanasi (Ancient seat of Hindu & Baudhh learning) and Allahabad (Oxford of the East) are the testimony of its intellectuality.
Lucknow, The City of Nawabs, is located on the banks of river Gomti. It is the centre of The Heritage Arc in Uttar Pradesh and is the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. The climate of Lucknow is semi-tropical and mean temperature is around 20 oC and is specially enjoyable in the months of March (spring time) with average temperature of 12oC and ample sun light. It is home to picturesque ancients and medieval monuments. It is also famous for its ethnic cuisines like 'Tunday Kabab', 'Lucknawi Biryani' and 'Malihabadi Mangoes'. Lucknow is the principle seat of Modern Education in UP with more than 9 medical colleges, 5 dentals colleges, 5 Universities and 7 Central Research laboratories. Institutions of repute like KGMU, CDRI, ITRC, NBRI and SGPGI are located here.
With this background King George's Medical University, the premier Indian medical institution, located in Lucknow, is playing the perfect host for the 'Third International Craniofacial Dental Summit' from 4 - 6 March, 2018. The principle aim of this event is to generate and exchange international knowledge in the field of Dental Sciences and Craniofacial Biology.
The conference is attended by International leaders in the field of Craniofacial Sciences from institutions of repute USA, UK and Brazil. Besides scientists and clinicians from premier Indian institutions like All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, National Institute of Biomedical Genomics, Indian Institute of Toxicological Research, IIT Kanpur etc will adorn the event.
